Bay Area Council on Gender Diversity (BACGD)
BACGD, based in Green Bay, is a volunteer-led nonprofit providing support, education and advocacy for transgender and gender-diverse individuals, their families and allies throughout Northeast Wisconsin.

Monthly in-person and online gatherings for transgender and gender-diverse adults, offering safe and supportive opportunities to connect with others.

Trans Artists Collaborative (TAC)
Trans-led art initiatives include The Transperience, an immersive digital storytelling exhibit, and annual transgender holiday displays.
Public Education & Advocacy
BACGD provides speakers and educational outreach about transgender experiences for schools, organizations and community events.

Youth GO SAFE Group for LGBTQ+ Youth
Youth GO’s Students Advocating for Equality (SAFE) program provides peer support and social connection for LGBTQ+ youth.

Hot Lines & Help Lines
Whether you are in crisis, looking for someone to listen or simply need support from someone who understands, these LGBTQ+-affirming hotlines and helplines are available to help. Many are staffed by trained counselors, peer supporters or members of the LGBTQ+ community and offer confidential support, crisis intervention, information and referrals.
Diverse & Resilient Anti-Violence Warmline
Provides support, information and referrals for LGBTQ+ survivors of violence. Support is also available to survivors’ friends and family members.

FORGE, a transgender anti-violence organization based in Wisconsin, provides support and advocacy for transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse people. Its mental health provider directory includes more than 150 Wisconsin providers.
