Get Involved with The Connection!

Our work to strengthen mental health across the Fox Valley thrives on collaboration, shared leadership, and active participation. We invite our members and partners to get involved in meaningful networking opportunities, join committees and taskforces, and help shape the future of mental health systems and supports in our community. Whether through pop-up groups, taskforces, peer networks, or other member-driven efforts, your voice, expertise, and energy help deepen connection, spark innovation, and advance collective impact across sectors.

The Business of Mental Health

Formed in 2018, The Business of Mental Health is a collaborative peer group created to support the behind-the-scenes work of mental health organizations. Originally facilitated by clinical leaders from Catalpa Health and Rogers Behavioral Health, the group provides space for ongoing collaboration, conversation, and mutual support among clinical leaders.

While facilitation has evolved over time due to organizational changes, the need for and value of this group have remained constant. Discussions focus on a wide range of operational and leadership topics that impact the effective functioning of mental health–providing organizations.

The group meets virtually on the fourth Friday of each month, typically from 8 to 9 a.m. Those interested in learning more or being added to the calendar invite may contact Erin VandenLangenberg at erin.vandenlangenberg@catalpahealth.org

Access to Mental Health Taskforce
(Spring 2026)

The work will focus on two areas: strengthening recruitment and retention of licensed mental health professionals, and expanding the lived-experience workforce, including certified peer specialists and community health workers.
