Our February’s e-newsletter highlights the release of the new Tri-County Community Health Report, which offers a shared snapshot of health and well-being across Calumet, Outagamie, and Winnebago counties. The report reinforces what many partners are seeing across systems — that mental health is closely shaped by social and economic factors such as connection, belonging, access to resources, and community support. These findings help frame the broader focus of this month’s updates, which center on collaboration, prevention, and strengthening the conditions that support mental well-being across the region.

Be sure to check out the opportunities to get involved through a new pop-up work groups The Connection is convening, and our community’s Business of Mental Health Networking Group. These groups create space for members and partners to share ideas, learn from one another, strengthen systems, and advance practical solutions as we work together to improve mental health across the region. We’ve also included information on upcoming trainings and learning opportunities focused on building skills and expanding knowledge.

February also marks the launch of the Connected Fox Valley website, a new hub highlighting our regional initiative focused on strengthening social connection as an upstream strategy for improving mental health. Grounded in community listening and partnership, the website brings together research, insights, and emerging strategies — and will continue to evolve as the project grows, new learning emerges, and community partners help shape the work moving forward. Together, this effort is working to build a more connected, resilient, and mentally well region.
