About:

Healthy Teen Minds, an initiative of The Connection, was launched in 2016 to improve the mental health of youth in Calumet, Outagamie and Winnebago counties.

Fast forward eight years and our team is proud to have developed two successful strategies that are being sustained in the community. They include a region-wide implementation of Sources of Strength, an upstream suicide-prevention program, at area middle and high schools. The second strategy is the development and launch of MyConnectionNEW.org, a LOCAL mental health service navigation website.

Join us May 9th as we celebrate these accomplishments and share stories of “hope, help and strength” from local teens and their trusted adults who are leading the charge to create positive culture change in their school communities, break stigma and be connectors to help.
