For the past couple months, a crisis response “Dream Team” work group convened by The Connection has been re-imagining how our community can better respond to people experiencing a mental health crisis.

What resulted are recommendations for sweeping improvements that will result in kinder, more compassionate and effective care that will ensure people get connected to the right care, at the right time, by the right responders.

The work group, led by Sarah Bassing-Sutton, Project Zero Coordinator, shared the results, vision and details of their plan during a public Zoom meeting, held Aug. 18.
